IS THE SOMALI PRESIDENT MR YUSUF BEHIND THE CONSPIRACY TO VANDALIZE THE ITALIAN GRAVEYARDS IN MOGADISCIO?
Jan,23.2004 RadiofreeSomalia (RFS) Many people speculate that the arrival of Mr.Yusuf Bari Bari, personal advisor and spokesperson of the president is related to the hiring of freelance gunmen and unknown militia claiming to be Islamists, are the real culprits who have excavated the Italian Cemetery in Mogadiscio The vandalizing of the graves cannot be an isolated incident, it is outrageous and it is not mere coincidence to the fact that this inhumane act of the graveyards happened (18 January 2005) the day after the first representatives from the TFG-in-exile in Nairobi visited Mogadiscio (17 January 2005). It is incomprehensible for the Somali population of Mogadiscio to understand the reasons why the graves did get ransacked at this moment? For a faithful Moslem society, it is immoral to do such inhumane act during the Holy Week of Xajj, the pilgrimage to Mecca, and on the eve of Eid-Al-Adha (20 Januray 2005).
