Is the site auction 4 a cause legit or a ripoff?
This looks more like lottery than auction! The highest bid don’t get the prize, but the highest “UNIQUE” bid gets the prize. It is definitely a ponzi-based “business” because all the money comes from members who pay “bidding fees”. Okay, a better description of this business is : lottery! Well, if it is a lottery, then I hope they have licence to run it. If you check all the “winner of the lottery”, you will find that the fees paid in every auctions is MUCH higher than the price of the product. In the nutshell, all the money comes from bidders! The owner pockets 20-30%, gives some to charity (who knows?) and the rest the UNIQUE winner. This lottery (or ponzi) is quite creative but have serious flaw! Unlike the legitimate lottery where the winners are chosen by open drawing process, auctions4acause.com’s insider and owners knows the UNIQUE bid and can easily manipulate the system so their friends can win the lottery. You can read user reviews,problems,their quires,responses and rating about the site in any forums,google search or blog etc..so that you can know more details about the site. I didn’t use the site.You can also do a whois search in the Whoisxy.com and know the owner,technical,administrative contact details etc..you can use the phone number or email id which you get in whois search and try to contact the person and clarify your doubts.
