Is the show Crime Scene Investigation Accurate?
I watched the television show CSI wondering what it would be like to do it for real. My friend Kelly spent six years in crime scene investigation, and I wanted to know how authentic the show was. I asked him to sit with me and watch the show. She said that if anybody showed a true story of crime scene investigation, it would not attract viewers. Unless you are involved, it is incredibly boring. She once worked a crime scene inside an automobile that took him two full days. The victim, a homosexual gunrunner, had been shot inside his car by a man he made a pass at, and then put into his trunk, along with his entire luggage. The victim had left behind a diary that detailed his dealings and the names he had used for his safe deposit boxes throughout the country. The FBI demanded that Kelly give the diary to them. She did, but she photocopied it first. His luggage happened to include five bars of Irish Spring soap, and to this day, more than 20 years later, Kelly cannot stand the smell of
