Is the shape and size of the Otto Link Saxophone mouthpiece the same as all others?
There are many different shape, sizes, and feels to sax mouthpieces, and even slight differences will affect sound and how they play. Otto Link mouthpieces are considered by many to be top of the line for jazz sax, but they require a strong embouchure. So, if you’re an experienced jazz player, these are a great choice. If you don’t have the muscles for it, some people think you should just do ahead and buy it and develop the embouchure, while others say start off with something easier, like a Vandoren A6s or Java.
