Is the Selection Committee process separate to the traditional appointment process?
The Selection Committee is made up of those who are normally involved i.e., those elected and those assigned the responsibility along with technically qualified representative(s) such as a Club Head Coach. The only change as per the new program is the inclusion of someone with Human Resource experience who is able to focus more on the screening issues. This does not preclude smaller clubs from using a less formal appointment process as long as the screening principles are employed.
