Is the Security Deposit refundable?
Yes. The security deposit is 100% refundable less any unpaid rent or damage. Most damage occurs with incontinent residents who soil the carpeting in their room. In such cases Tanglewood has the carpeting cleaned while the room is still being used by the resident but after the resident vacates the room, Tanglewood will have the carpeting replaced. This expense is charged to the incontinent resident’s account and deducted from the security deposit. This charge usually runs around $500-$600.
