Is The Secretary of Dreams anything like the Creepshow trade paperback?
All in all, these two books are very different! Creepshow was around sixty pages in trade paperback, while The Secretary of Dreams will be approximately 250 pages as a deluxe oversized hardcover. Creepshow featured abridged adaptations of King stories, meaning that each story was shortened to fit into the book. The Secretary of Dreams will feature every single word of King’s original stories — nothing is being left out. Even the stories that are adapted into comic form include every word of King’s original manuscript… the words will just be presented in a different way than you’ve seen them before! In addition to the differences in the formats, The Secretary of Dreams Limited Edition and Lettered Edition will be signed by Stephen King and artist Glenn Chadbourne. The Gift Edition, while unsigned, will be housed in a custom-made slipcase to protect your investment.
