Is the Royal Marines basic training the toughest in Britain?
The Royals have the toughest boot of anyone in the world, they are not really Marines though, I would put them on the level of commando more than a shock type Marine Unit, they are very tough troops and very highly respected around the world. BBruin- I am right, I am talking about Boot Camp, BUD/S is not Boot Camp, it is considered a C school by the Navy and advanced training. Beastie-Read what I said, I would not call them Marines in the conventional sense, they are trained to a Commando level, far above what a normal shock troop Marine or Para would get, trust me, I know all about them and have worked with them and other British groups.
