Is the Rough and Ready arch header structural?
Our LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) arch headers featured with the segmented and ellipse interior kits, meet the bearing requirements for the opening widths typically used in a two story structure. The Roman, ogee, gothic, horseshoe, focus wall openings, and garage arches install with our LVL structural beam featuring the exclusive T lock slotting. This allows the hollow core plywood arched header to install with accuracy and ease. The T lock feature will also fit into a standard beam comprising of 2 each 2 X 6 or 2 X 8 lumber combined with a 15/32 plywood spacer in the center.
