I read about this in the papers but I haven’t witnessed it at first hand. The answer is simple: The gel is there for a good reason and it’s not acceptable that certain people do not use it. It’s not acceptable that people contract life-threatening infections simply because muslims will not comply with hygiene regulations. If they cannot or will not do their job properly and are putting patients’ lives at risk then they should be dismissed.

i think the rise of infections in hospital stems from the fact that alot of the cleaning jobs were outsourced to agencies who employ people for very little money, and they do not do a thorough job of cleaning in the first place if at all.

Hi there The rise in infections is due to the bacteria becoming resistant to the chemicals we have used for years to fight against them
