Is the Rhino on the Endangered Species Act List?
Yes. The Black Rhino is being saved from becoming extinct. It is now illegal to kill them. They are listed as ‘critically endangered” by the IUCN Red List, and one of the subspecies, the Western Black Rhino is considered by many to be extinct already.
