The ARC data warehouse, ARC COMPASS®, is unique in that it represents ticketed and financially settled air transactions, which is an intermediary step that falls between the travel booking and the actual travel event. Based on changes reported to ARC by travel agents including refunded and exchanged tickets, ARC is able to closely approximate a passengers intended travel, even though actual flown information is not provided.
