• The curriculum of chemistry class is based on the California Chemistry Science Standards, which is the District adopted science standards. The SAT-2 Chemistry is designed by the College Board and the California Science Standards is designed by the California Education Department. They are similar but not identical. • All SAT tests are designed and written in specific formats so that the format of SAT chemistry questions are very different from the questions appeared in any standard chemistry textbook. Because of the differences, students are not being specifically prepared for these examinations.
