Is the raw data stored in a secure way?
Yes. The raw data is stored in a secure format and held by the Attorney General’s Department for archival purposes. What exceptions are there to this rule? The NSW Attorney General’s Department will gather more extensive information than stated above in the following circumstances: • unauthorised attempts to access files which are not published LawAccess NSW pages; • unauthorised tampering or interference with files published on LawAccess NSW; • unauthorised attempts to index the contents of LawAccess NSW by other web sites; • attempts to intercept messages of other LawAccess NSW customers; • communications which are defamatory, abusive, vilify individuals or groups or which give rise to a suspicion that an offence is being committed in relation to our web services; • attempts to otherwise compromise the security of the web server, breach the laws of the State of New South Wales or Commonwealth of Australia, or interfere with the enjoyment of LawAccess NSW by other customers.
