One of the most talked about, written about, and movied about ( I made up this verb) topics in Christendom is the end of times. The rapture is a key component of that discussion. Of course, I’ve read all of the Left Behind series and seen a ton of movies on the topic of eschatology. I have to admit that the rapture is a fascinating concept. I also have to admit I see very little evidence in the Bible to support a definitive position on it. The Bible clearly foretells of a coming tribulation in the last days. The signs of that tribulation are becoming unmistakeable. The economy, around which man has based modern life, is coming to a crash at a theater near you soon. We think we’ve gone through the depression already. That little blip on the financial radar was just the first wave, a preview of coming attractions.
