Is the quote:beauty captures attention, but personality captures the heart true?
Natural instinct makes people attracted to beauty so in that context it is true. Beauty is what your sex organs go after while personality is what your heart and brain go after and what you fall in love with. If someone was beautiful beyond belief but had a terrible personality, you would not be able to love them but you would want to stay with them because you would want to have sex with them. If someone was completely ugly but had a perfect personality you would easily be able to become good friends with them and want to be around them but your sexual desire would make you not want to touch them or have sex with them. So it’s mostly true because personality does capture the heart because you would still be hurt if your friend decided they didn’t want to be around you anymore whereas you would just be annoyed and angry if the supermodel broke up with you.
