Is the quick release for the bubbler effective?
This typically refers to the bubbler attachment for a Nelson D3000. This attachmentis a shroud which sits down over the sprinkler body. The normal grooved static plate can still discharge under the shroud for sprinkler irrigation and with a simple twist operation the plate is reversed and a smooth plate throws water up into the shroud so it then simply falls down. Changing between sprinkler and bubbler mode still requires changing the sprinkler height as the bubbler needs to run close to the ground, whilst the sprinkler must operate further from the ground. Therefore the sprinkler body itself will typically need removal to insert or remove the appropriate length of additional dropper pipe.
