Is the quality of training I will receive from the Biological Field School, or courses recognized by employers?

Absolutely. Any employer in the environmental industry should recognize your training with us as viable, high quality and desirable. At present, full and successful completion of our intensive 3 to 12 month FAT Program through the Biological Field School leads to certification. This certification means that you will have achieved a recognized level of competency for accurate and efficient field identification of flora and fauna species, biological inventory work, census/survey techniques and data entry, collection, analysis and interpretation techniques. Within the environmental industry it should be regarded as the same calibre of quality as obtaining qualifications to become a certified Ecological Land Classifier through the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources.
