Is the Public Golf Handicap accepted by the USGA?

The formula we use for handicapping is not the USGA official formula. The USGA does not endorse this handicap service, or any other handicap service that does not require you to belong to a private golf club. As well the USGA does not allow the the use of the Internet to input scores. So while our formula will produce exactly the same results, for the time being at least, it would not be accepted by tournaments who will only accept USGA official handicaps.
