Is the public allowed to speak with Council Members at their meetings?

Yes. At the end of each City Council Agenda is a section entitled: Public Business from the floor – non-agendized. We encourage you to fill out a speaker’s card, which you will find in the Council Chambers; submit it to the City Clerk; and when your name is called you may approach the podium and state youir concerns. Speakers are limited to three (3) minutes each, and we ask that you be considerate of the allotted time to allow other speakers to have their three minutes as well. Following this procedure will allow for a smooth and timely process during the meeting, and we appreciate your cooperation.
