Is the PSP 3000 Interlacing Noticeable on DJ Max?

Hello everyone, I was wondering in your opinion, if it would be worth to upgrade from a PSP 2000 to a PSP 3000 playing mostly the DJ Max titles. I read the screen is much more vivid and the buttons are more comfortable. The thing that is scaring me away from purchasing a PSP 3000 is that I keep seeing negative reviews about how noticeable the interlacing is.
