Is the Protestant religion similar to Catholic religion?

Well, let me answer this question. Priests are not permitted to marry. This is not based on the bible. It is based on economics. In the schismatic Churches, Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox which have a valid priesthood and sacrament’s the priest is permitted to marry before ordination. If his wife dies he cannot remarry. The Priest can choose to be celibate in those churches as well. Protestant means to protest. In the Protestant faiths, which number in the hundreds, their ordained ministers are permitted to marry. There are only two Protestant Churches that are similar to the Catholic Faith. They are the Church of England and the Lutheran Church. These churches do not have a valid priesthood, or sacraments. The Prohibition on marriage also extends to Nuns, Sisters, and Brothers.
