Yes and No. The Product is approved for use in kitchens, and areas where there is normally a lot of public activity. However, the treatment process cannot be done when people (not wearing protective masks because of vapors) are in the building. Installations need to be done after hours or when closed down for renovations. In Kitchens: All open food must be removed or sealed in some way. We ask that food covered in . plastic wrap be also removed and put in fridges or other storage areas to avoid vapors getting into the food. Also, all staff must leave the immediate area of the installation. Venting by hood fans will help in keeping the vapor level to a minimum. In Swimming Pools/Showers: Normal venting system is adequate. But we require that it be turned on to full capacity so that the extremely high moisture levels in these areas do not affect the treatment process.
