Is the PRINCE2 official examination mandatory?
When the PRINCE2 Foundation course is listed as a requirement for specific roles in the Learning Path, the PRINCE2 official examination is mandatory for the staff members concerned. The official examination for the PRINCE2 Foundation course is a paper-based exam that has to be organized by the Learning Manager of your office (see also the 3 previous questions). You can assess whether you are ready for the official exam by taking the PRINCE2 Simulation tests. The Simulation test does not result in any certification, but does provide a assessment of your learning.
