Is the Powershift some kind of solenoid or air shifter?

A. No, the Powershift is a unique linear actuator designed and manufactured to Translogic’s specifications . It uses a DC (direct current) motor, planetary gearbox etc. to provide precise control and masses of power from such a small package. This shifter design allows us simulate the operators/riders foot operation when shifting gear resulting in simulated gear shifts rather than just banging in the gears with brute force when there is no control with air shifters and solenoids.
