Is the polyurethane spray foam fire resistant?

0

Yes, it has been tested by independently and the foams that Iso-Spray use have all achieved a class 1 fire rating. This means that the polyurethane foam does not spread flame and resist the surface spread of flame and does not constitute an undue fire hazard. Our surveyors will show you a fire test on the foam and compare that to the flammable foams being imported from continential Europe by some spray foam companies. Using a non rated foam and not British Standard Class 1 is not acceptable on a domestic roof and Iso-spray will not install these type foams as a matter of policy. Non rated foams are cheap for sure but do you want a fire bomb installed?
