Is the polaris outlaw 500 a good atv?
The outlaw 500 is a beast, if you like ATV mudding it can do that too but you’ll appreciate being able to ride on trails and perhaps oepn up the throttle from time to time. Overall it’s an excellent ATV. As for value, that would depend on year, but you can pick up a nice 2007 Polaris Outlaw 525 IRS for roughly $3,800 used right now so I would think your boat is worth more. If you plan on going sailing you’ll want to keep the boat, if you’re just keeping the boat because it’s worth a lot you’ll consider taking the quad perhaps. I’d ask for a little money to top off the deal too though, he’s getting the better end of the deal from a dollar value point of view.
