Is the polar bears white coat an example of behavioral adaptation?
In fact the polar bear possess more of a yellow coat rather than a white coat. Natural adaptation of the colour of the polar bears coat evolved over time and is not associated with behavioural adaptation. The polar bears coat colouring has adjusted with time to the natural surroundings, chiefly the snow.
