Wednesday March 24, 2004In June of 2002, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco ruled the Pledge of Allegiance (history) unconstitutional under the First Amendment due to its inclusion of the phrase “under God.” That decision, called ridiculous is now being reviewed by the U.S. Supreme Court.
