Is the plant peppermint be use as a repellant for mosquitoes?
Probably not very effectively. The ingredient that makes Peppermint have its distinct flavor is menthol, which has local anesthetic and counterirritant properties. Because of this, it would probably provide more effective relief to the bites from mosquitoes. I don’t believe any significant studies have been made into the matter of repelling mosquitoes using Peppermint.
