The size of the Les Cèdres site is vital to the development of an intermodal complex that incorporates rail-truck transfer, handling, storage and distribution facilities into one site. These facilities will be an integral part of CPR’s railway operations. The planned size of the site is sufficient to meet CPR’s needs over a 15 to 20 year time frame. The useful life of such a site is estimated at 50 years.
