Is the phonemic awareness section administered on the computer?
A certified teacher will still administer the phonemic awareness section one-on-one. However, there are 2 ways to administer the section: the teacher may read the directions off the computer screen and mark the child’s answers on the computer or the teacher may print the direction and score sheet and record the answers manually. Once the section has been completed, the teacher will log into the online assessment and manually enter the child’s responses.
