Is the Personal Development requirement of 30 hours thirty credit hours?
No. It is 30 contact hours. Generally, academic coursework fulfilling SDP requirements presumes 12 contact hours for every credit hour (e.g. a three credit-hour academic course would count as 36 contact hours if successfully completed). Non-academic activity, such as participation in a university activity, would be counted hour-for-hour of actual involvement in the activity. It will be up to the participant to adequately document all claimed hours of activity in all SDP-related endeavors and the documentation will be evaluated by peer reviewers.
