Is the person taking antibiotic medication?
Yes: Give yellow fever vaccine. Antibiotic medication is not a contraindication to immunization, provided that the person is well enough to be immunized. 6.8-2 • Is the person a hemophiliac? Modify the procedure by applying direct pressure over the site for a five minute period following injection. • Is the person breastfeeding?
