Is the performance of illusion a “substitute” for preaching the Word?
A. Absolutely NOT! This form of presentation is only a tool to suppliment my preaching and teaching. There is a great need for pastors, evangelists and teachers of the Gospel. The use of illusion serves two purposes: 1) Attention – I can get the attention of the audience with the tricks; and 2) Retention – it is a documented fact that people, young and old alike, learn far better with visual object lessons – in short, they WILL remember!
