Is the Pentecostal Faith guided by the New Testament or the Old?

Pentecostalism is guided more by the New Testament, but accepts the whole book. They are for the trinity, gifts of the spirit, and all that. Speaking from five years of experience hard core as a Pentecostalist, lol, the church is guided more by feelings and emotions connected with all of that. The Pentecostal church is actually very new, not even 150 years old. It started off as a revival type religion, and the reason it spread so quickly is partly because of the excitement and also the chance to start one’s own church. Many Pentecostal churches remain unconnected to each other. The reason for this is many churches are started by splitting an already existing church. The reason for the split? Most of the time it is because some people feel God is revealing something new to them, or they feel “called” to start their own church, blah blah blah. It comes down to people don’t like what’s being preached, they think they can do it better or just want it done their way, and BAM! New church! L
