Seattle grunge heroes Pearl Jam have announced that they will be appearing in the UK to make two special appearances as part of their four date European tour in August. The tour will be to promote their forthcoming new album. The band will appear at MEN Arena, Manchester on Monday 17th August and O2 Arena, London on Tuesday 18th August. These dates are set to be a precursor to them returning for a full European tour in the autumn. Tickets will go on sale at 9am next Friday, 8th May and not today as eGigs’ newsletter suggested, apologies for any confusion caused. When they do go on sale egigs will have links to buy them, next Friday. The band plan a return trip to this side of the Atlantic for a full European tour in the months following the release of the new album, due some time this autumn.
