The Commission has worked hard in recent times to listen to the views of people outside London. To this end, although our small staff remains based in London, the PCC has initiated a programme of Open Days to be held around the United Kingdom. At these, anybody can come along to discuss the Commission’s work, to express any concerns they might have and to quiz both staff and Commissioners in a question & answer session. So far, the PCC has visited Manchester, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Belfast, Newcastle, Liverpool, Glasgow, Birmingham, Oxford, Ipswich, Leeds and Nottingham.
