Q: Which car between the Volvo XC90 and the BMW X3 is better overall!? In terms of gas comsumption, safety, warranty, performance, and style A: I have a 2007 BMW X3 and all I can say is Wow. This car has the capabilities of an SUV, the sportiness of a car and the looks of a BMW. Reliability is perfect other than routine oil refills, and a flat tire. BMW’s Warranty is better than most companies with everything from brake pads to windshield wiper fluid being covered. In terms of gas consumption, with the 19″ Y-Spoke Rims, Mid Grade Fuel, Highway Miles, and a Lead Foot, I am managing around 22MPG. Safety; the BMW X3 has earned its place on IIHS’s Safe List for SUV’s. When it comes down to style, the X3 looks best with the sports package and the 19″ Y-Spoke Rims. If you do a lot of winter driving, I would not recommend them. I have it in Monaco Blue with Tan Leather and Black Accents. The Leather feels of excellent Quality and the seats are very supportive.
