Is the Passing Game Just Affirmative Action for White Guys?
\r\n Side Story: The NFL is about character, a character that has lately been defined by white people to the detriment of black people.\r\n Over the past year, I have written articles on the topic of civil rights and the ways in which I believe that the NFL has violated the rights of players like Pacman Jones and Odell Thurman.\r\n I originally criticized Roger Goodell, because I expected the right action to come from the top. I have since accepted that my true problem was with NFL fans and writers that hypocritically badmouthed such players, and thus forced Commissioner Goodell to make rash decisions to appease customers.\r\n I might be acerbic and facetious in criticism, but I do not see that as a reflection of a personal beef with someone…unless I directly specify that I have a personal beef with someone.
