Is the parking at Alewife Station 24-hour?
It is 24/7. They charge you for each day or fraction of a day. You can pick up your car at any hour of any day and their don’t-give-a-damn cashiers will give you the same surly attitude while you pay a high fee per day. They put in that parking area to encourage people to take a train instead of driving but then realized they can keep cranking-up the parking fees to pull in more money. Their busy time seems to be during morning rush hours. That is when the FULL sign is often ON. Weekends are usually light unless there is a big sports or music even that people don’t want to drive to.
