Is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ15 a good camera?
Apologies if I have missed it, but I don’t see a TZ15 in the Panasonic line up. There is a TZ5 and a TZ50. Assuming you mean the TZ5 there is a very comprehensive review here: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/panasoni… Don’t be put off by the critical nature of these reviews – in this price range, no camera will shine in every area. Panasonic pack their cameras with useful features. The only downside is that their sensors tend to produce a little more “noise” in the images compared to some other manufacturers. However, this is only noticeable if you make massive enlargements – you won’t notice it at all if you view on screen or print at normal sizes. I have a Panasonic camera and am very happy the results. I agree with the man in the shop. The TZ5 is a great camera for the money – there really are very few cameras that offer so much at this price point.
