Is the Oreck®air 600 an ozone generator?
No, the Oreck®air 600 is not an ozone generator because it does not rely on ozone as part of the cleaning process. Ozone is a natural by-product of many electrical appliances. The Oreck®air 600 actually removes this from your atmosphere and changes it to oxygen. The Oreck®air 600 Air Revitaliser does produce very low levels of ozone, and can be turned on or off with a switch located on the front of the unit. Any ozone produced by the Air Revitaliser does not impact the Oreck®air 600 cleaning efficiency.
