You have the right to expect that your surgery will take place in a surgical facility that is safe and well-equipped. Facilities with accreditation from a recognized accrediting organization (Medicare, JAHCO and AAAASF) have demonstrated that they have appropriate equipment and staff to safely monitor patients and deal with potential complications. The accreditation ensures that operating facilities are compliant with sterilization techniques and various other health requirements. Dr. Cambeiro performs his operations at Parkway, Flamingo and 7-Hills Surgery Center. All these facilities are accredited surgery centers.
