Is the on-board power supply capable of handling up to any combination of SmartStack boards?

Yes. The OCS employs a switching DC to DC power regulator that converts the DC input voltage (15 to 30VDC) to 5VDC, up to 2.2A. The SmartStack specification allows each card to consume up to 250mA @ 5VDC. The OCS100/200 main board consumes less than 150mA @ 5VDC.
