Yes, it is a True Hepa system with the same grade HEPA as other filters, such as the Austin Air. Like other systems, the HEPA media used in the NQ Clarifier achieves 99.97% particle reduction to 0.3 microns in size. In addition, the NQ Clarifier uses a special non-outgasing grade of HEPA designed for chemically and environmentally sensitive individuals.
