Is the new u.s. citizenship test questions harder than the old test?
Both of the new and the old test have been designed to test the citizenship applicants on the knowledge of American history and civics, however, the different between the two tests is how each question is being phrase. On the new citizenship test the questions may require the applicant to think critically about the concept of American civic or history, where as the old test will simply ask for facts. For example, the citizenship test questions about U.S. Senate may ask “Who does a U.S. Senator represent?” while the similar question on the old citizenship test may ask “How many Senators are in the U.S. Senate?” It is pretty easy to see that to answer this example question from the new test, the applicant will need to have an understanding of the how each Senator represents the people in his or her state, while answering the old test will required just a memorization of the answer which is 100 Senators. The new citizenship test questions not only require each applicant to know the facts
