Yes. The new MicroStation platform comes standard with WaterCAD, as well as the classic stand-alone platform. You will be able to add AutoCAD integration for an additional fee. Do I need MicroStation or AutoCAD to run the new WaterCAD? Only if you want to work within one of those environments. WaterCAD stand-alone doesn’t require any additional platforms. Are the new LoadBuilder and TRex (Terrain Extraction) add-ons for additional price? No. LoadBuilder and TRex come standard with WaterCAD V8 XM Edition. You can use them within the stand-alone, MicroStation, or AutoCAD interfaces.
