Is the new iPhone coming out tomorrow (June 9th)?
I think the new iPhone will be announced tomorrow, and my guess is it will be released to the public sometime before Labor Day. I have heard that the case might be a little bit different, though I don’t know specifically how. I have also heard that it is not going to be a huge upgrade over the current iPhone, but it is expected to support 3G data transfer. It also will probably have 16GB of storage, just like the largest iPhone does now. I also expect that it will cost $400-500. The big question on this is whether the new version will shoot video and have GPS capabilities (for me). I have also heard that it is expected the new iPhone will have a better camera than the current version (more megapixels). 3G capability is huge, but it is apparently a huge drain on the battery technology of the current iPhone, so it will be interesting to see how the Apple engineers got around that (or if they did).
