No. The New American Independent Party is not affiliated or related to any other political party except for the Interdependent 3rd Party in Massachusetts. Several of our state parties (California, Delaware, Nevada, New York & Vermont) use the party name Self Reliance Party instead of the label New American Independent Party to avoid confuse with other political parties with similar names.

No. The New American Independent Party is not affiliated or related to any other political party except for the Interdependent 3rd Party in Massachusetts. Several of our state parties (California, Delaware, Nevada, New York & Vermont) use the party name National Self Reliance Party instead of the label New American Independent Party to avoid confuse with other political parties with similar names. The NAIP is currently considering changing the name of our party to avoid confusion with these other parties. If it is determined that a name change is needed, then a new name will be selected and announced near the end of 2010.
